RESIDENCE DESIGN- REVISED PLANS

Hi, Please see the attached floor plans now revised with your inputs and suggestions. 1. Boundary wall shown with offsets of 2' taken from all sides. 2. Floor plans revised a bit to use maximum spaces. 3. Stair is now 3' for each flight. 4. Master bedroom on 2nd floor at the back, created with maximum area possible. 5. Balconies provided with suitable areas attached to living room and master bedroom. Please let me know if you like the spaces. This is certainly a challenging plot. If provided with the opportunity, shall work on sanction drawing and working drawings. Thank you. Regards, Wrishitesh

wrishitesh, you can refer to me as you want, but your design is not space-optimized, it doesn't meet the requeriments of the contests and measurements are not real. A person is longer than your beds! I hope the contest holder to notice that your design can't be made real before building it, when it would be too late.

Hi Quay3010, I thought I would refrain from commenting, but since you have taken up in saying that this is a fraudulent one just because some other inexperienced person is saying, I don't think that someone as experienced as you should carry on with it. The design is as per Indian standards with proper furniture scaling (only students try to scale down furnitures and mention about it). You and I both know we have to submit autocad files after contests.
Also in Indian type of apartment designs, there is a common practise of showing the shower area only without the bath-tubs as opposed to European and american standards. Moreover, in concept designs, we do not show each & every working dwg detail, do we? Should anyone have any questions, I believe as a professional, one should have a strong basis and logic when pointing out anything, otherwise it just shows their own education as an architect. Hope you would understand as a fellow professional. Thank you.

I agree with Quay3010. The first floor and second floor have to be full size 20'x40'. (quoted from myaff "There will be 2 feet space requirement on the back/sides on the ground floor only"). The winner entry is even lacking the elevations :(
