Contest Brief
Looking to redo the logo for electrobed.com - I am leaving on Wednesday to China to redesign this adjustable bed and we are looking to make a really good logo to be very suitable to the Australian market for beds.
A bit of background. There is a company called Koala mattress here in Australia (visit www.koala.com) this company now has $50m+ a year in revenue and they sell mattresses online only. There are many similar brands to Koala, such as ecosa.com, eva.com.au, onebed.com.au, lazybed.com.au, sleepingduck.com, greywing.com.au. The idea is for our company to create an adjustable bed which will be modern and be for online selling only and will be easy to use. Adjustable beds are usually seen as beds for seniors, however, we are rebranding it so that it is more of a lifestyle bed to improve sleep for everyone (young adults upwards). This adjustable bed will be compatible with the koala mattress but we will also be selling our own mattress (and pillows and other accessories) together with our adjustable bed base. If you want an example of the idea of this product, you can look at www.yaasastudios.com as this is very similar to our idea for our adjustable bed.
Attached are some images of the packaging of the Yaasa adjustable bed and this will be similar to how our adjustable bed will be packaged, meaning the icon/logo will be in large size on every package.
