Contest Brief

We are creating a program to accredit businesses as age friendly.

An age-friendly business focuses on making sure that older customers are safe, comfortable and respected by including such features as:
• non-slip surfaces, wider aisles and easily-opened doors;
• clear signage;
• places to sit and refresh; and
• patient, helpful staff.
A business that is comfortable for older customers will also be comfortable for other customers, such as: pregnant women; parents with children in strollers; people with sight, hearing or mobility or other limitations; or people whose first language is not English.

We would like a logo that could be given to businesses to display (in their advertisements and as a sticker at the door) that shows seniors they are age friendly, and encourages them to shop there. The logo should however not look as though it is a business only for seniors.

Ideally we would like the logo to incorporate the non-written part of the NSSN logo (see https://www.nssn.ca/ and uploaded file)
