Contest Brief

We are a nonprofit organization called Pathways to English. Our mission is to break the poverty cycle by giving an English education, teaching vocational skills, and connect students with careers using their learned vocational skills. Our work is primarily in Haiti currently with hopes to expand one day.
We are looking for a new logo! We have made a few examples on our own, but need a professional to up our game.
Along with a logo, we would like a icon, as well as giving us a few fonts to keep our marketing consistent. We have hex colors, but we are willing to work with them and change them if needed. If they are changed, however, we would like the names of the hex colors.

Our motto is "Ascend Together" and we would like this is some aspect. Whether it is in words, (or just the word ascend), or in a graphic form. We also want to include our name, of course, Pathways to English.
Some other elements to consider is "Pathway" and that we are using education to break the poverty cycle.

Our Hex colors currently are: Primary colors- #307197, #3b3b3b, #f0492c and secondary colors: #cd2036, #f26952, #989898

We are hoping to use this logo and icon for our website, social media, business cards, merchandise (t-shirt, hats, etc.).
We want it to be fun, exciting, but also portray our purpose and mission!
