Contest Brief

I run a small business and want to create a new video game. The (preferably vector) artwork needs to be visually appealing to interest possible developers and consumers alike. The attached rough concept art illustrates the main character and the environment. The distant enemy can be modified to be more unique. The character's weapon can be changed in a similar manner. I included reference art to help with the designing process. Good luck with the artwork.

I am looking for a new piece of artwork for a potential new video game. The art must feature the main character, a cave-like environment, and a distinct three somewhere. I created two poorly produced 2d video games when I was much younger. The new potential one will be a complete 3d overhaul that retains the same core feel and main aspects, but with extensive overall improvements. The main character should reflect the original, brown in nature with a unique (slightly rounded) square head. The facial details should seem almost realistic (if the art features his front) and he should nevertheless have a decently bulky build.

  No armor/ wearables are necessary, and the rest of the character can be modified to fit the tone of the picture. The environment is incredibly similar to a cave and should be dark and irregular. The background should also emphasize muscle-like tissue throughout. The main enemy should contain similar material but can be considerably modified to enhance its uniqueness. Finally, the main weaponry that the main character displays in the picture does not matter much but should be entertaining. For color direction or more assistance, I supplied a concept art file that demonstrates the main pieces that I am looking for in a poorly drawn manner.
