Contest Brief

I am a federal Firearms licensee (FFL), a New York State Dealer in Pistols and Revolvers, and a New York State Licensed Gunsmith. I designed a logo for my business but and unable to decide on what format business cards I want. I will upload the logo in black, transparent, and white for you to use. I spent about 7 hours on vista print last night but have very minimal creative insight on how to picture a design that looks good. The finished product must be in a format which enables me to upload the design to Vistaprint.

Overall here are some of the things/styles I need/am looking for:
-Must have business name “Cataract Firearms, LLC”
-must have two address lines(for now just use fake information for design).
-must have my name(just plug in “John Doe” for now) on it and a line underneath in smaller text that says “Owner”
-Must have a spot for contact information. A tactful way to say/design that the customer can text or call my main number (just use 123-456-789) for now.
-a line for an email
-a line to put Facebook page.
-a brief description of the services, probably in bullet points. Feel free to use whatever you think would look best. Here’s what my business offers, and feel free to change the wording to make it sound better:
-Firearm Transfers & Private Sale NICS Checks
-Order Inquiries/Special Requests (someone wording basically that I can also order stuff for peolple and have access to many different wholesalers
-Specialty in Law Enforcement/Military Brands/Orders
-Licensed NYS Gunsmith


Overall, I’m looking for a clean design, but definitely want it to stand out. I’m not set in concrete on where the above items need to be placed. You as the artist can decide what you think looks best. I’m not particular on any color so choose what you want. Vista Print offers many different card stock options, so If picked, ill adjust the stock according to your design. Thank you in advance for your time, and Good Luck!

    For all participants, the cards that I have "5 stared", I really like. I like the darker base colors, they make the rest of the details "pop", especially when in color. See said cards and my comments on them for further explanation about what I like about them, and also the things that I could see to be improved. A design which gives me a lot of options with vistaprint as far as print styles/card stocks are definitely a plus.

    Sorry about the logo's not uploading everyone. One of the files was over 20MB and made all of them fail to upload. I just added the logo with a white, black, and transparent background.
