Contest Brief

I am looking for two files -
- one for the name of a city: CalHarborne; and
- also for a logo/ emblem/ symbol that can be used with it or separately.

This is for a fantasy role playing game (D&D) campaign. My current thinking is to have a greatsword through the helmet of a giant (see similar image with sword through a shield, in the attachment). However, if you want to do a logo with just a greatsword or some other combination, that is fine too.

If it is useful, the background is that the city was named after a warrior who killed a mighty giant that was terrorising the land. The character used a greatsword and also a greataxe at different times, so either an axe or sword can be used in the design.

The files should be in vector format with transparent backgrounds. All exclusive rights to use the images for any future commercial and non-commercial purposes must also transfer.

There are some very nice designs coming through. I am liking the following things across various designs:
- use of upper and lower case for the name 'CalHarborne' rather than all upper/ lower case
- the horned helmet style over the traditional spartan style
- something I can use on various media (e.g. on maps, websites, character sheets, shirts, etc).

In case it's useful, here is some information about the city itself:
- It is a large trading city with large harbour area
- A large castle overlooks the sea and the city from a hilltop
- The city has a very mixed population (human, elf, halfling, dwarf, dragonborn)
- It has 'Royal' status as it is recognised by the empire and monarchy

I hope this helps in providing inspiration.

Thank you for the quick replies! I'm especially liking the designs that include the high fantasy elements, such as the swords, banners and helmets. The more corporate style is not what I'm looking for on this occasion.
