Design a Logo for a game studio

Contest Brief

We are a small game development studio with the name "Zama Games". We need a logo.

"Zama" means nothing. It's just an engineered word like "Zynga" which we think sounds cool, is easy to remember and easy to pronounce for anyone. But if you come up with a meaning/association for it and express that in the logo, that could be fine as well.

The games we are making are all kinds of games:
- games for kids
- casual games
- semi-hardcore games
- hardcore games
- educational games

The main platforms are iOS and Android, but we also release the same stuff ported to Windows and Mac. We don't plan to release for consoles (Wii, PS or Nintendo). All games are distributed online (no physical medium like a DVD): on stores, portals, websites. Most of the games are free or free with ads or free with coins. All of the games can be played using a touchscreen or a mouse.

So, it's more or less a full range of games, with focus on mobile platforms (smartphones and tablets). There will be some hardcore gamers playing our games. There may be parents downloading stuff for kids. There may be kids 6-8 yo downloading stuff. We intentionally don't want to limit the audience in any way.

The logo should be with transparent background and look well on white, light-gray or other light background.

This logo will be shown on our website, on any store where we publish, inside our games (when the game launches, on a white background) and possibly in other places.

After a poll on the latest logos there was no clear leader again. But after some consideration I think the logo should best have an image of a fox. Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:R%C3%A4v_vid_Revhusen_i_Ystad_-_Juli_2012..jpg It can be just a head of a fox, a whole fox, stylish, cartoony or realistic. It most likely should be orange to be easier recognizable as a fox.

oops sorry everyone, I just tried rejecting some of the entries to make it more clear in which direction to go, and someone told be you lose some points (?) or EXP (?) on this website when your entry is rejected? I tried to restore those I rejected and now I lose the EXP points (?!) That's a totally stupid system! I'll never reject any entry again. Sorry!

I just "re-considered" all the rejections I made. It seems I only got a -2EXP and -4credits punishment for the first 10 or so re-considerations. Nvm, I don't care. I also wrote a ticket to the support of freelancer.com since this whole system of rejections seems to be just absurd. Won't ever use it again.

After rating lots of logos it's clear that just letters "Zama" and "games", no matter what font or colors are not enough to look interesting and related to games. There should probably be some image/icon/symbol next to the letters, behind, above, under, overlapping them etc. It's about mobile (smartphone+tablets) games. Such games are easy to learn, they are fun, addictive and for all ages. They are also usually "deep" - the longer you play the more rules/combinations/levels you discover. If you are a gamer yourself, take your gaming experience as a starting point. How do you experience gaming?

Just to make it clearer for everyone, I've look thru some websites of indie game developers and checked which logos they have. Here are those which I liked (some a bit more, some a bit less but still each of these logos is pretty much on the level):

Just to clarify a bit: the logo should be "cool". This word is nearly meaningless, I know, but the players expect "cool stuff" from a modern game studio. It should be untypical, creative in some way. As a non-designer, I can't say more here. Just think of something which a typical gamer today would find very cool and worth showing to his friends on Facebook.
