Contest Brief

***MAJOR UPDATE 2****
You asked for it, here is further direction:
1. MUST have an ICON (as well as the words 'the sales recruitment company')
2. Needs to scream CONFIDENCE - confidence is the number one thing we want the logo to project. IT should almost have 'over the top' confidence
3. What we really like are logos which has a confident animal in it - this is sales so we want aggressive animals
E.g. Rhino, Alpha-Wolf, Lion, Tiger, Eagle, Sharks

You can use one, or many, but what we like most is when the logo looks you directly in the eye - this is confidence

Also the logo should be minimalist, we are not looking for something to hang in an art gallery. Less is more, suggestive is better
It could also be symbols, those work too but it needs to speak to confidence

3. We are open to colour inspiration/suggestions, but one we particularly like is royal purple background and metallic gold lettering
4. Bold confident colours pls.
5. Font - we have seen both serif and sans-serif that we like. Having one of the words aka SALES in serif and the rest sans-serif is fine too etc. But

please experiment and put forward what you like best, Most of the ones we like are sans-serif but i have examples below of where serif does speak to confidence.

We need a logo designed for a recruitment company.

The company is called The Sales Recruitment Company.

Our target is tech startup companies, established successful tech companies aka Uber, Zomato, Deliveroo, Square, Atlassian, Slack etc.

Matt and I started this firm because we are fed up with the lack of sales expertise coming from recruiters in the market. We are different because we have been sales leaders for years, having recruited hundreds of sales people for our own companies. Now we are offering our expertise to other companies who need it. Essentially every other firm in the market are just recruitment firms, filled with recruiters. We are sales people first and foremost, and we are a much better judge of a candidate's ability to sell, close, negotiate etc.

We have chosen a bold name for the company, we want it to have impact as well as being obvious what we do. We are looking for original designs and ideas, not stock images with a special font. Matt and I will be watching and reviewing the contest patiently, and specifically looking for ideas that stand out from the rest, just like The Sales Recruitment Company - hit us with your most creative ideas.

    Massive uses of Readymade Mockups is looking like Design Collapse Disorder or DCD. So many contestants are showing their entries on various Mockups. As a result 50 or 100 unique idea becomes 1-2 thousand entry. To choose a perfect entry from a flooded of Mockups is not only hard but also time and effort loss. Mockups are now emerging something like a camouflage. Even A simple word can looks good on huge effected Mockups. Logo in white or dark background is always great because it is the real view of the logo. While rating the entries, Mockup should be avoided to get more good entries.
