Contest Brief

I'm starting a new company called Linsft.
Our main software is a Workshop management system.
Designed to be modular, to change dynamically depending on the environment and needs of the workshop.
The Linsft company logo will also be used as the main icon for the software. The logo needs to look nice even when displayed at 16px X 16px.

Our main priority is the quality of the software we sell.
That is why the current logo on linsft.com looks like a signature.
I want the logo to be an endorsement of the product indicating success on all required test done at Linsft.

The logo does not need text to be valid in this contest. Having the name displayed is not our top priority. The customer should be able to recognize the brand only by the design and choice of colors and that even if the logo is scaled down.

Only after a couple of hours it is clear that our new logo will be one of those submitted in this contest. After a first brainstorm on the current logos, the best ranking include a logo with text and a drawn part. Where the text can be used alone without the drawing on development release and have the full logo on stable release. Also with those, at a small scale, the logo without text is used.

None do this at the moment, but if possible, it would be nice to see that something is missing when the text is used alone. To somehow indicate that this release has not been approved.

Hey guys, I've starting working on the project and I think I've got a pretty solid concept. I just wanted to know a little bit more about what your company does so I can make the logo more personalised.
