Contest Brief

Ongoing work will be available for the winner. We are looking for originality, not work copied from Google images or free vector icon websites.

We need a logo for YachtBizTV. It will be used:

On the website
Embedded in video
As part of an animated video intro

Adjectives and keywords to be conveyed:

- Luxury
- Video and TV
- Classy and Stylish
- Sophistication
- Wealth
- Strong sex appeal

ABOUT THE LOGO

- No sailboats or anything related to sailing please (understand the difference between a sailboat and a superyacht)
- Nothing too abstract, it should be easy to understand
- The logo should be sleek and sexy
- We want to logo to reflect something about the industry but still be relateable and fun as we are targeting superyacht crew rather than yacht owners
- the logo must be scalable - It must look good as a small logo in the corner of a video, or printed on a large banner
- We will want all original files, must be scalable vector. A favicon for the website will be required too.

COLORS

We haven't decided on a color scheme but we would like the website to be a light color, either white or a light grey.

ABOUT THE INDUSTRY

- The superyachting industry is all about luxury and wealth - think fast cars and private jets
- It might help to do an image search for 'superyacht' to get an idea of what the industry is about
- Visiting some superyachting websites like http://www.superyachttimes.com/ or http://www.superyachts.com/ might also be a good idea
