Contest Brief

We are Boots Industries - Leaders in 3D printer filaments.
We are looking for top level designers to create a stunning website PSD to represent our brand.

You must design a unique website centered around the product (3D printer filament). In doing so you must create a unique experience that is rich in custom design elements, highly usable and impressive for the visitor. The PSD will be cut and used to create a fully functional website (theme) based on WordPress/WooCommerce.

==> Main Design Objectives
1) Within a few seconds of landing on the website, the visitor should clearly know that we are selling high quality 3D printer filament. Use provided text and create unique visual elements that inform and captivate the visitor.

2) Create a highly usable and visually pleasing purchasing interface for the product. Refer to http://bit.ly/1DHU3t4 for an example of a good interface.

3) Create a design that is unconventional and unique, not just another design that looks like a 50$ theme.

==> Rules
DO NOT rely only on stock photography for the design. Create your own unique design elements.
DO NOT submit simple, unpolished work that looks like it could have been done in MS-PAINT.
DO submit unique work that features your artistic ability and understanding of the quality we are after.

==> Content Primer
Find attached "Landing Page Content - Getting started.pdf" with a content primer to get your started. You can add/remove anything you want in order to suit the design and best represent the product based on your vision. Also find attached our logo and a few pictures of 3D printed objects for the purchase interface (ONLY use these pictures for that purpose).

Also find attached a concept packaging (2Blue.jpg & 4Red.jpg) for the product - to give you an idea of the brand image. This design is two color, because of packaging cost optimization. DO NOT submit a simple design like this, it's only there to give you an understand and help you create unity across the website and packaging (brand).

We've also attached to example of WHAT NOT TO DO with comments that was submitted to us by an amateur designer.

==> Deliverables

Submit a complete mockup of the landing page. If you envision any dynamic elements, provide additional images to explain your concept.

Winner will be responsible for creating two additional simple content (child pages) similar to the landing page theme.

Bonus points: Provide renderings for mobile devices and how the website will respond.

==> We are VERY demanding and expect top quality. We employ a lot of freelancers in various roles. We always have a lot of design work.
If successful, we will submit winning design to http://www.awwwards.com/ and list your name as the designer.
