Design a logo for an exclusive mens blog.

The Blog talks about everything which is there for a man to know when it comes to fashion lifestyle - gadgets - automobiles. From how to pour a single malt - to the cigars - what mohave on your kindle.

Not just information but refinement - and etiquette.
The Blog is called - Men Of Refined Taste.
In short - M.O.R.T. (with the full stops never without them)
MORT as a word means Death in French.
Hence it is suggested for the letters to be separated by the dot.

Need a logo for both the long and the short format - complimenting each other and to look a part of the family when used separately.

The Logo will go on the blog site and also in all communications - depending on the long or short version .
The short version will be used as a Mark in most places.

Black and white are the ideal colours
The logo should speak refinement and taste.
It should look premium classy chic which will appeal to a premium audience or to those who aspire to reach that level.

A short description of M.O.R.T. -

It's not the clothes or the shoes or the hats that maketh the man. It's the man wearing them who does. That man can tell a Windsor knot from a Kelvin. He can rev up the rebel inked on his arms, whilst carrying off a suit with equal panache. He can be, both, a traveler of the highways, or the discoverer of the hidden secrets of the woods.
He, is a Man of Refined Taste.

Hi Guys,
I haven't seen a logo which I can confirm on till now - all i have got are fonts hats and moustaches.
There is no story whats ever - there is nothing which speaks refinement - an Italic or cursive logo is not the answer.
