Contest Brief

Here's the deal: I need a logo to put on a credit-card-sized membership card. The winning entry will be printed - I don't know if that needs vector diagrams or not, but what I do want is it to be able to be printed without any problems or faffing about. The background will be burgundy red, which the printers can take care of. All I need from you talented people is the logo itself. It's fairly simply: just black lettering and a small icon to go above it. The lettering/club name should read, simply: The Club
Above that, I'd like the icon of a bumblebee. Nothing massive, just a small addition to complement the letters. In my head, I see it positioned above the words, The Club, between 'The' and 'Club', but above the lettering, if you see what I mean.
The lettering itself is also important. It needs to be classy, but timeless. I'm not interested in old-style fonts, but I'm open to suggestions. Think of something that you might carry if you were the member of an exclusive club; something cool, but not funky or overtly modern.
The lettering is to be positioned in the centre of the membership card, leaving room for other lettering below, which'll be sorted out another time.
