Contest Brief

Give me Five is a list-based trivia game. I’m looking for some help to take our cards and logo to the next level. Cards in this game will have two sides to them. The front will list a topic, and then the back side will have a list of items related to the topic (Refer to the "Give Me Five Sample Cards.docx" document for example cards).

On the front:
- Game Logo (be creative to create one)
- The title of the list (for example: Actors who played James Bond)
- And, an icon that is related to the topic of the list (For example the movie reel)

On the Back:
- Game Logo
- List of items (Sean Connery, Roger Moore…)
- Wild icon (this will only be on some cards)

I encourage you to be creative as you design the cards, but keep the function of the cards in mind. The topic and the list need to be easy to read quickly by players. Cards should have a border and should follow the guidelines in the poker-size templates that are attached. For coloring, make the front and backs different so it should be easy to identify which side is which.

Sample ideas for icons are attached. You do not need to create every icon, but you can use them to show what icons would look like for the cards.

For you’re the final submission, please include:
- A Photoshop and/or Illustrator version of the card design. Please label your layers effectively so that it will be easy to do a data merge to create the cards.
- A PNG Sample
- Designs for five of the icons to show the format that would be used for the icons (Illustrator version preferred)
- An illustrator file with your logo design

This is interesting but really low budget , given icons and logo design are included in the task. Unless you're into just clean, "no second though given" art, because you don't have commercial plans for this version.

Hi everyone, thanks for submitting your ideas so far. It's exciting to check them out. One caveat that I should add is the length of list titles on one side. Alot of designs will work with shorter titles, but our longest title is currently 46 characters, "Of The First 10 Elements In The Periodic Table." Please make your designs so that these longer titles can be on the the title side.

I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with. One more thought. I'm interested in possibly including a silhouetted hand in the game logo. Perhaps you can consider including that in your logo designs.
