  Hello, I'm a professional illustrator and I'm interested in participating, but I have a question: do the $100 prize in this contest represent the payment for illustrating the 20 pages and the cover? Or is it for something specific you'd like to see? I hope you can answer me as soon as possible so I can start developing my proposal. Thank you.

     Thank you for your inquiry! Yes; it is for illustrating the 20 pages and the cover. Unfortunately, I understand the prize is low. However, that was the budget our church gave us and we have to work within those parameters. Thanks again for your interest! I appreciate you!

     Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
     
     There’s a monster under my bed!
     I can’t, I won’t lay down my head.
     I cannot I will not go to sleep!
     When there’s a monster beneath my feet.
     My eyes will stay open,
     I will not blink!
     Grab the monster spray under the sink!
     He’s got eight legs and eight feet,
     It looks like he want’s something to eat!
     There’s a monster under my bed,
     I can’t I won’t go to bed!
     
     Wow, that was an overreaction
     Your afraid of me? Boo you must be actin’?
     Look at me, look at you,
     What do you think I’m going to do?
     Hear me out and listen please,
     Let me put your fears at ease.
     I keep your home free of pests
     And those unwanted guests who try to nest.
     Mosquitoes stand no chance
     Against this spiders hippity hoppity dance.
     I know that I might look funny
     But, I promise it’s all love and honey.

     You seem nice and I like your flow.
     I like your shoes and what you do
     Eating spiders and the dancing too!
     You seem harmless and kinda cool
     But it’s getting late and I have school.
     Let’s call it a night and go to bed
     It was nice to meet you Spider Fred.
     
     There’s a monster under my bed
     He told me that his name is Fred
     I was scared and full of dread
     We were enemies now where friends instead
     If things should change and I was wrong
     With a spray of this he’ll be gone
     Until then I’ll go to bed and dream about the monster tomorrow under my bed.

     Be aware of designers who only use artificial intelligence software. Ask for rough sketches and see their portfolios. I hope you get the best designer with the prize
