illustrations for baby milestone blanket

Contest Brief

I am producing a 1m x 1m baby milestone blanket (picture of the baby is taken on it every month) and am looking for someone to do the illustrations for it.
The attachment is the current best selling blanket in the market as an example (but our design is square, so it would be more like a circle with the baby in the middle.
For the contest I am not expecting a full design, just something to show the kind of illustration you would do, the look and the elements you are proposing.

The overall look should be "soft", babylike. The elements and colours ideally gender neutral, but it can also be an option to do different designs for boys and girls. Direction of animals or other natural elements is preferred.

It is not a blanket for sleeping but to be used as a picture backdrop, please see the pictures as a reference.
