Contest Brief

Soft requirements:
(1) Instrumental theme music, no lyrics
(2) Application and mood: a short internet series set on the streets of a near-future on the cusp of becoming a cyberpunk dystopia, but not yet there. The main character saves books from book-burnings and reads choice excerpts to listeners; this is when the theme will be played.
(3) Inspirations: bass and drum heavy hip-hop in the style of Toonami's Joe Boyd Vigil.

(4b) Dial-up modem sound, at a volume that won't disrupt narration

Hard requirements:
(5) One 20 second loopable version of the theme, at a relaxed pace suitable for reading
(6) One 20 second loopable version of the same theme, starting with a beat drop, and proceeding at a faster pace
suitable for rising suspense
(7) Intellectual property for both loops passes to the client
