Contest Brief

Non-profit organization in need of a logo for a website and other branding. Looking to combine a few concepts into one logo. The idea is a lantern shaped like a sandal whose windows look like an open book with two pages and like two windows at the same time. I have a few files that demonstrate what I am trying to capture to make it easy to blend all three into one logo. The idea is that the lantern is the light that guides your footsteps on the path of knowledge. The sandal has a very specific shape, as included in one of the photos as well. One iteration could also have a semi-circled moon in the background as in one of the photos attached.

Logo 1 shows how the windows look like a book.
Logo 2 shows how the image can be hung onto the a semi-circle moon.
Logo 3 shows the sandal and the book together in a drawing (A FRIEND MADE THIS FOR ME, BUT I DO NOT WANT THE DECORATIONS INSIDE THE LANTERN).

Logo 4 is how the sandal shape should be and its proportions.
Logo 5 is another picture of how the sandal shape should be and its proportions.

I would like to see the image with the pointed bottom of the sandal and without, with the semi-circle moon as though it was hanging from it and without. As for the word Lanturna, I would like to see it as Lanturna and LANTURNA; with small caps (the L slightly larger than the rest of the word). I burgundy font would be nice.
