Contest Brief

I'm a member of a Scottish Writers' Group. We run a podcast 'The Perennial Porridge Pot' to showcase our work. We intend to make our podcasts attractive to people outside Scotland by emphasising the fact that though we live/work in Scotland we include people from all corners of the Earth.
I need a logo which will meet all requirements for Apple/Spotify/Deezer etc. and for the Podigee website that hosts us.
I have paid one designer, but am unhappy with the result - too crowded, too twee, too Disney-like! I'm attaching that logo. The specifications were 'A traveller carrying a bindle, a porridge pot (cauldron) over a stick fire. Books in sight.' I'm prepared to be flexible about the specification. If a designer has a great idea which meets the purpose - I'll listen.

  Hi Patricia, Yes this is good. I'd still like more simplicity I think, and I'm looking for some kind of reference to Scotland welcoming writers from elsewhere.This may not be possible! I've certainly failed so far. It's early days. I'll view more entries then get back to people who I feel have an idea I can use.

Hello
I'm starting now on this site, I don't speak English very well, but I liked your idea and I'm willing to do it. I work with the art of e-sports logos, football, illustration with a cartoon style (and sometimes more complex), apart from the part I manage to encompass with what I already know about drawing and illustration.
I created a new profile on Twitter and Instagram to promote my work. On Twitter it is @Crolls_Dittmann and on Instagram @crolls_dittmann.
And yes, I managed to do that with the help of my fiancee and the google translator.
