Logo design - black and white

Contest Brief

We would like it to be in black and white (one version in black and one version in white with no background) and say:
The Vetere Team (with a bold V above it). Then below it will be the team members names in script.
Looking for a pretty masculine logo (all caps?) and nothing too cheesy even though it is for a real estate team. The ones we have tried ourselves are a little too plain. Feel free to give suggestions or changes. Move things around if you have better ideas but this seems to be our favorite layout.

I have attached a rough draft to get you started with the gist of what we are looking for. It is just too plain and not the right fonts. "Classic but modern" is what we were trying to go for but not quite getting it.
