Contest Brief

COCOON is a new Senegal-based company specializing in: Digital Communication, Event Management, Web & Mobile Development, Institutional Communication, Personal & Institutional Branding, eReputation, and Crisis Management. We are looking for a professional, modern, and dynamic logo that reflects our values of innovation, trust, and close relationships with our clients. The logo should convey the concept of a “cocoon”: a reassuring, protective space that is both creative and forward-looking.

REQUIRED COLORS
Red: #9f2242
Green: #329044
Gold: #b3a168

These three colors must be incorporated in a visually harmonious way. You are free to experiment with which color is most dominant, as long as the overall balance and brand identity are preserved.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Name to include: COCOON (styling the typography is allowed).

2. Desired style: modern, clean, professional, versatile, and conveying a sense of protection, innovation, and support.

3. Deliverables:
- Source files in vector format (AI, EPS, or SVG)
- High-resolution versions (PNG, JPG)
- Adaptations for both light and dark backgrounds
- A brief usage guideline (optional but appreciated: colors, fonts, etc.)

4. Additional notes:
- A combination of a logotype plus an emblem or icon is preferred
- A subtle nod to our African roots is welcome, but should be tasteful and not clichéd

EVALUATION CRITERIA:
- Adherence to the required colors and brand positioning
- Creativity and originality of the concept
- Readability and visual impact
- Ease of use across different applications and formats
- Overall quality of the final files and design cohesion

CONTEST DURATION:
7 days (with the possibility of extension if needed). We will provide regular feedback to help refine your designs.
