Contest Brief

Company name is Kid9 Books.
An author who has just published her first children's book, needs a logo to represent her writing and publishing. This logo will be used as a stamp on books and other merchandise, and should be fun and whimsical but professional and reproducible. The theme of her writing is about the changing and reforming of families. Acceptance, tolerance and embracing each other's differences. Feelings of hopefulness, inclusion, and belonging.

This review says it well: "Family Love. Through the eyes of babes. A heartfelt tale that reminds us of the lessons that children teach us everyday; to embrace each others uniqueness and focus on what truly matters, kindness, love, family and friends. This has become a family favorite in our home"

You may use the style of the book (see the site and pages below) as a guide, and you may consider using some of the characters. We would also like to see type treatments as well as some with graphics. Generally stay away from cliche references like kid silhouettes, people, rainbows and books.
