Contest Brief

I need a logo for a tick repellent company. Ticks are a dangerous threat, they are not an insect, but rather an arachnid. The tick repellent company name is “Tick Proof”. One concept I have thought of is a lock, with the image of a tick in the center of a lock. Other visuals that may work are a shield, or a chain. I am open to any concept; the perfect logo may be something I have not thought of yet. If you can think of a different image to associate with protection, that is fine as well. Key words to associate with logo: strong, powerful, block, professional. The reward is $110.

Please provide your logo on a plain white background, I do not care for the 3d style logo samples that look like a shiny plaque on an office wall.

For colors I am open to anything, I am leaning toward 3 colors or less. Black should be a color, the tick will need to be black, and each logo should include a tick. Safety orange may work, there are any various colors that may look good.

I am including the image of a tick that I very much like, this is not to say you must use this tick, you may be able to create or find a superior tick, but I do like the look of the one that is included. I like this tick, probably vertical though, not at an angle.

There will be two taglines underneath “Tick Proof”, the first is “World’s Strongest Tick Repellent” and underneath that will be “All Natural 5 Essential Oils”, I like the idea of the number 5 being inside a circle.
