I'm opening up a electronic store with mixed theme but many from retro products like record players in old look and up to high-tec gadgets. The retro theme will however be a bit big so i want the logo to be usable with more modern products as well. It has to work for Brands like Sandisk and such as well so i'm thinking about something that's bit old fashioned and modern in the same time!

The company name is Radíóbúðin (the radiostore) and attached is the old logo before the old Radíóbúðin closed 20 yrs agobut the old logo was famous here in Iceland so i might wanna grab something from it it remind the old days, but using the old fashiond record player (attached photo) as a theme part, but the old theme was TV set in the background.

The old fashioned record player could make a logo stand out, is my thought, but of course not as complete photo i logo, i'm thinking it more as clear background in any form because the old record players draw a lot of attention and really cll out, and sell well :)

So i'm thinking the logo from the sign place that's over my store (attached photo) but not mind the currant sign that was too small. I want the sign to be all over the window like on the light blue spot from under the old sign to call stronge message to the nearby street traffic. The sign will be 598cm wide and 100cm high and the idea is to have the logo designed around the sign-size in order to get max visibility into the street. The logo will also be used online on this modern template.

So in general im thinking about old fashioned logo, but not! and the colour matter is quite open but i'm thinking about to use soft antique yellow a bit in the store, but all is open......
