Contest Brief

I need a graphic for use on a website landing page, for an online store. The graphic will include the logo and/or name of the store, and should integrate well with existing website design.

Size of the graphic should be 1920 pixels wide by 260 high. PNG or JPEG or another common image format.


DETAILS OF DESIRED GRAPHIC

The name of the store is "the HATE SHIRT shop," or alternatively, "HATE SHIRT". These words should be prominent in the graphic, or at least included somehow, for branding purposes.

The store sells t-shirts and other items with graphics that are political in nature, but are also satirical, sarcastic, or in some cases, rude. Hence the name "hate" in the store name.

In current U.S. politics, "hate" has come to denote any speech or behavior that contravenes norms of polite behavior, especially as regards certain topics such as race, religion, transgender, abortion, or really any other political issue. In particular, "hate" is used to denote legitimate dissent, heretical belief, or any departure of personal opinion from what is politically popular and acceptable.

In other words, anything that is not "politically correct" is "hate."

Thus, the merchandise in our store is most certainly "hate." Please design your graphic accordingly!

What image comes to mind when you imagine "hate"? Fire, demons, skull and crossbones? Angry, scowling faces? A blank red field? Zombies on cell phones?

YOU BE THE JUDGE. We will take the best idea and use it, perhaps with some changes, to brand our store. And if we like your work, we probably have a lot more work for you as well.
