Mobile Website Design Contest - Wordpress

Contest Brief

This contest is for 1 page of our website. The contest winner will join us on a contract basis to work on the remaining pages.

Who we are:
-An interior design studio in need of an improved mobile site UX

What we are looking for:
- A talented web designer (preferably WordPress expert) to redesign the homepage of our website. We need an improved mobile experience that showcases our portfolio, encourages people to engage or contact us, and is simple to navigate.

The contest winner will provide:
- Mobile-first (PWA-ready) design mockups (InVision or other interactive prototype software) of our homepage (attached here)
- A design focused on conversion (email sign ups, click-to-calls/emails)
- Reduced vertical scrolling (interested in horizontal scrolling for other pages)
- Simplified sticky footers (Home, Portfolio, Journal, Contact Us)
- A design without a hamburger menu

Technical parameters:
- Fast speed (80%+ Google site speed index/Lighthouse score)
- Performance budget per page ~560KB

Our website is highly branded. Our typography and color palette have been thoughtfully curated over the years, and we would like to maintain the current aesthetic. Our goal is a mobile website experience that engages users, keeps them coming back, and encourages them to convert. For the right designer, we will end the contest early and begin a contract to work on the rest of our mobile website experience.
