Contest Brief

I have a large 3480 x 2160 pixel image of Japanese occupied Hong Kong during World War II that will be used for a movie. I need to add a motion graphics layer of traffic to the empty street on this JPEG image. Therefore this empty street needs some hand-pulled rickshaws, people walking and trucks/autos that are appropriate for this era (vintage 1930s vehicles)

Deliverable specifications:
PNG image sequence (with alpha channel for a transparent overlay of your street effects on the master image)
Video length = 15 second image sequence
Frame rate: 29.97
4K pixel image sequence size: 3480 x 2160 pixels

It is fine to just upload a JPEG image of your work to this contest, then provide a private video link of your video via chat message (maybe best to use a private video link on YouTube for your submission videos).

Please provide links to all stock elements (rickshaws, vehicles, people) that you use so that we can evaluate the licensing costs.

See attached JPEG image to this contest you will use to guide your work.

Hi Amir, You need to just post an image/entry on this contest first, otherwise I am unable to PM you... as Freelancer does not give me access to chat until you submit an entry.

Hello, your competition is interesting, but I recommend that you transform this project into one that can be awarded, it is because it requires a lot of dedication to carry out and not all freelancers would be willing to sacrifice a lot of time without knowing that they could win or lose.

The problem is, we need to purchase the model first to download them. We cant download a demo and pay later.

Make sure you feature only hand-pulled rickshaws... as any other rickshaws (pulled by bicycle or motor) were not used in Hong Kong in 1930s. So to stay historically accurate, only feature hand-pulled rickshaws please.

We are asking for a PNG image sequence as that is compatible with almost any software platform. Thus you can use whatever software you prefer, but if we award your entry as the contest winner, then you would just deliver/export your final video file as a PNG image sequence. For your regular entry submissions to this contest, it is fine to use the image we provided with the black text bubbles, as we are only judging your work seen in the street area.

We intensionally only release the master image with these black text bubbles to safeguard the master image is not released on the internet. But we have allowed a good portion of the image to be seen, so that you can easily match the night look needed for your motion elements.

As this is for a movie, your work does need to be photo-realistic. But it is at night, so the night look can allow for low-poly 3D elements and still look real.
