Contest Brief

I’m seeking visual design ideas to go with the voiceover shown below.

What great ideas do you have to accompany the words?

I’m specifically looking for ideas, which can be in the form of past work you’ve done, links to videos or images (yours or those of others), Adobe Illustrator illustrations, hand-sketches…

I really want to capture the viewer’s imagination and am open to pretty much anything. Please do what you can to capture my imagination.

This contest and prize are for ideas. I may choose to realize those ideas myself or to hire out all or part of the work. If you want to include a brief proposal please do so, but this isn’t required.

I will be seeking similar help on other passages of my project over the coming two months.

Voiceover:
Every day we’re learning more and more about the human brain, and what we’re learning is astonishing. Still, no matter what we learn, wherever research takes us, the question of how consciousness arises from lifeless stuff will always remain. Yet we know from irrefutable first-hand knowledge that lifeless stuff can give rise to conscious life – we’re living proof.

I'm willing to take ideas in any and all forms. Something visual is preferred -- links to a video or some stills you taken from anywhere -- though written descriptions are acceptable if they go beyond the obvious. ("Have a brain morph into a cloud.") If you desire, feel free to sell me on why you would be the person to realize the vision and we can talk. This is a small part of a much larger project.
