Contest Brief

I need two professional grade blueprints to bring to the manufacturer. I have provided pictures of my specifications in designs.

Blueprint #1:
Follow the "blueprint #1.png" for sizing.
"blueprint #1 design" for attachment design.
Descriptions:
The two-halves will attach by a magnet. One side will have the magnet. The magnet is covered by a very thin layer of stainless steel.


Blueprint #2:
Follow the "blueprint #2.png" for sizing.
"blueprint #2 design" for attachment design.
Descriptions:
The two halves will screw together with a quarter inch of thread.

      Hi. Actually I'm not sure if 2 mm isn't too thin. Everything will depend on the thread and the one who's doing it. It must be perfectly centered with the tube. It can be achieved on turning lathe. That's what you need to search for.

      Regarding of magnet design - the difficulty will be to produce magnet with exact size. I'd say it will cost you a lot of money, so I'd stick to thread design. Maybe, you should search for existing thread connection (thread fittings are available on the market) and weld 2 halfs of your tube to it.
