Contest Brief

NEW-October 2021! We name our products creative names, and then try to embody the name of the product in a graphic that reflects it.

Each graphic logo needs:
-A unique font
-Matching color scheme to the product
-A design style that matches and makes it truly unique.
-Fits in a 1450x630px scale bounding box. (Can be smaller, see samples shown at 1/2 scale).
-Final export of awarded and paid for designs will be requested in 3 or 4 sizes, with different image layers as .pngs on transparent backgrounds.
These are NOT boring "company logos". These are creative exciting artistic product labels!!

There are going to be a total of 5 logos, and thus 5 winners awarded for this run. We will choose 5 winning entries, 1 for each “OPTION” below.
We will pay $25 per final logo. This is a private project, under NDA.

THE CONTEST:
Please choose one or more of the following 5 options, and submit a FINAL and PRINT-READY jpg or png. (You can watermark to protect, etc.)
MUST have WHITE background in sample submission. Other backgrounds will be rejected.

THE OPTIONS: (all are needed – submit for one or many)

Text: “Ol’ Saint Nick”. Font type: Holiday (Christmas/Winter). Color Scheme: Red and white fur or satin. Concept: Christmas/Santa Claus. Accent/Image: A Santa hat.
Text: “Hollyday Pine”. Font type: Holly (Christmas/Holly Leaves). Color Scheme: Holly green with berry red accents. Concept: Holly Leaves spelling the words. Accent/Image: Just the leaves and Holly berries.
Text: “Chanukah”. Font type: Jewish (Jewish looking script). Color Scheme: Blue with white accents. Concept: Holiday Chanukah. Accent/Image: A menorah.
(Please note, this entry will request an alternate spelling of “Hanukkah” before export.)
Text: “Latte Dice”. Font type: Any (be creative). Color Scheme: Coffee brown and crème. Concept: An espresso cup, or latte mug, with steam rising from it. Accent/Image: The mug/cup and steam.

Text: “12 d6”. Font type: Blocky (square-ish). Color Scheme: Any. Monotone text might be good…? Concept: 12 or so cubes being represented by text. Text can be made of cubes -OR- text can be in front of cubes. Accent/Image: Cubes. Please note, the dimensions of this item only is: 2000x2000 square.



EXAMPLE ONLY:
If I were to describe "Mintgenta" from the attached "Logo Examples" image, I would do so like this:

Text: "Mintgenta". Font type: Handwriting (Swirly, cursive). Color Scheme: Mint & Magenta. Concept: The beautiful text impresses those that like beauty and bling. Accent image/icon: Yellow sparkles abound.
(Please do not submit for Mintgenta, this is only an example.)

FEEDBACK ON ENTRIES:
I will offer regular feedback on entries and rate them as follows:
1 star - will also get rejected.
2 star - too simple, likely to get rejected.
3 star - in consideration. Not perfect, not wrong. A decent guide for other submissions.
4 star - a winner will be selected from one of these. Excellent.
5 star - Only winners will be marked as 5-stars, usually on the last day or after the contest ends. If you see it, you won that design.

Remember there will be multiple winners! You can submit many options for various options.
