Contest Brief

for a 1 man consultancy firm that in future will be advising in the downstream oil business a new logo is required, the firm has the following key facts:
The firm will be called nometa
The principles of working will be on the basis of continuous improvement, short is CI methodology
A broader definition is that of the Institute of Quality Assurance who defined "continuous improvement as a gradual never-ending change which is: '... focused on increasing the effectiveness and/or efficiency of an organisation to fulfil its policy and objectives.

The method of working will be based on the equilibrium principle, e.g. the condition of a system or a process in which all competing influences are balanced, in a wide variety of contexts
the equilibrium sign is 2 opposite faced arrows in horizontal direction

I am looking for a logo that has simplicity, yet meaning
it should be simple and have connection to CI and equilibrium
Company leading colors not known yet, but likely to be orange and grey

Initial price is 30usd, could be higher depending on quality
