Polar bear editing image/logo

Contest Brief

Can you draw or design? Do you have a sense of humor? Do you draw web comics?

Polar Bear Editing is looking for a logo-like design/cartoon. This isn't going to be the logo but an image interspersed throughout the website.
The idea is that this drawing will be funny or cutesy or say something about the nature between editor and writer. Can be all three, two of them, or something else.
Ideas of what we'd like to see:
*A disgruntled polar bear dragging a typewriter through the snow, bleeding black ink
*A polar bear sitting at a desk, seriously reading a paper manuscript while a unicorn sits across from her with nervous excitement
*An excited hedgehog, grasping her freshly edited book, walking away from a polar bear polishing her claws, satisfied with her work
* Polar bear, headdesk

These are just ideas, if they've sparked an idea, you can run with it and it won't eliminate you. Feel free to ask me questions for clarification.
But keep in mind, this is an image that will be used in multiple places, on multiple surfaces, online, possibly on business cards and promotional materials.
I would PREFER it to be a vector graphic and handed over in ai format when you win. But high resolution jpeg or png works too. But please include in your entry what format(s) you plan on handing over.

It can look like a logo, or it can look like a cartoon, or a comic strip.

I am open to picking multiple winners.

    In about two days I hope to choose a winner. You've made this a hard decision.

      Andy, I understand your concern. Yes I was using some artists work to see how it worked with my brand. I've decided on the images I'll be using and I've bought them all. I value artists hard work and I'm not trying to short change anyone. I'm sorry I felt your entry wasn't right for my brand. You pointed out that I did say 'disgruntled' but once I saw the 'disgruntled' bears I felt they were too angry for the look I was going for. I've entered contests on Freelancer too. It's the risk we take when entering contests or even submitting proposals. I also do graphic work so I understand how time consuming it is. I like the overall style of your so I have no doubt that you'll be successful with others who are looking for quality graphic design.

    Please make sure you compensate, fully, for using there hard work on your facebook and twitter accounts for your business. WE TOO have to work hard to try to build a business so I would hope you will treat these artists and their work with an equal regard that you have to editing and your own chosen profession? I have two questions at the end of this, that I hope you will answer for me? Do you have permission from these designers Robpurl, Graylotus, gerardocastellan & Manju2230 to use their entries on your sites over the last few days? Will they ALL be paid as runners up if not? Feel free to correct me, report me or just answer me? I hope your editing skills can read between the lines and bad grammar and understand that I just want you to be aware that OUR time is as expensive as YOURS? Of course, I could be just a bitter REJECT? I honestly hope that you Genuinely just didn't understand Contest Rules and that everyone is happy for you to use their images. I eagerly await your response.

    I'm getting a lot of things that look like logos and while I think they look great, I'm hoping more for a cartoon/arty design that can stand on its own w/o 'Polar Bear Editing' attached to it.
