Contest Brief

I am seeking a logo for Jean Ribault High School Athletic Department. Our mascot is the Trojan and our school colors are Columbia Blue, White and Black. My idea is to have a varsity letter "R" in Columbia blue and outlined in white and black in center. I would like a Block through the lower portion of the letter with "Athletic Department" in the middle. I am open to other variations of this concept. I will include a similar concept we used with another school. I would also like to incorporate the greek meander design as border for the block.
