Contest Brief

I am creating a video series describing a mysterious town, Mosswood Hollow, nestled deep in the lush forests of the Pacific Northwest. Here, amidst towering trees and hidden wonders, a peculiar cast of characters find themselves entangled in hilarious and adventurous tales.

It's a place where legends come to life, and where the line between fact and fiction blurs in the most delightful way. But hidden among the charm and tranquility lies the extraordinary world of Max Thompson, a self-proclaimed cryptozoologist, and his adventure seeking friend, Lucy Lawson.

Here are the complete character profiles introduced in episode 1:

Max Thompson: Our bumbling, yet endearing protagonist. He's an enthusiastic but slightly paranoid cryptozoologist who firmly believes in the existence of Bigfoot.

Lucy Lawson: Max's eccentric best friend and fellow adventurer. She's an expert in wilderness survival and carries an adventurous spirit. Lucy often serves as the voice of reason amidst Max's wild theories.

Bigfoot (aka "Biggie"): The enigmatic and mischievous creature who roams the forests. Although Biggie is often misunderstood and feared by the townspeople, he has a playful nature and means no harm.

Mayor Martha McMulligan: The no-nonsense mayor of the town who is constantly dealing with the chaos caused by Max's antics. She is determined to maintain the town's reputation and prevent any panic or chaos.

Earl Jenkins: A local conspiracy theorist who becomes Max's unlikely sidekick. He spends most of his time collecting "evidence" of supernatural creatures and is always ready to join Max on his adventures. He is more energetic and has whimsical ideas most of the time.

Max, fueled by his obsession with Bigfoot, convinces Lucy to join him to document their encounters with the legendary creature. Locals have avoided this forest for many years due to horror stories of Bigfoot among the residents of Mosswood Hollow. They set off into the woods armed with cameras, camping gear, and a map supposedly leading to Bigfoot's lair.

During their first encounter, Max mistakes Earl in a Bigfoot costume for the real thing, leading to a comical chase through the forest. Meanwhile, Mayor Martha is bombarded with reports of Bigfoot sightings, causing panic among the townspeople. Determined to maintain order, she decides to put an end to Max's antics and vows to find a way to prove Bigfoot's non-existence.

Here are my ideas to the scenes in the first episode:

1. Max and Lucy in Max's cluttered living room, surrounded by books, maps, and cryptozoology-related paraphernalia.

2. Max and Lucy geared up with cameras, backpacks, and camping supplies, standing at the edge of a dense forest.

3. Max and Lucy examining footprints or unusual markings on the forest floor.
The figure of Earl dressed in a shabby Bigfoot costume, hiding behind a tree and preparing to scare Max and Lucy.

4. Max, Lucy, and Earl engaged in a comical chase through the forest, with Max tripping over roots, Lucy ducking under tree branches, and Earl stumbling in his Bigfoot costume.
Mayor Martha McMulligan in her office, looking stern and irritated as she receives reports of Bigfoot sightings.

5. Max, Lucy, and Earl returning to Max's living room, disheveled and covered in dirt, while discussing their encounter with Earl's costume prank.

I believe I am most interested in the art style of "half life universe" or "modernism" - showcasing clean lines, geometric shapes, and rugged colors. I have two examples attached of some of my initial ideas. I would love to know if you agree with this art style or have another direction you would take. Thanks!

Requirements: Final animation video in 4k, and in the format .MP4 or .MOV

    hello..
I am interested although the budget is incredibly low. but still interested if you agree with me on the following steps:
    1. I will generate all the scenes and characters using the AI
    2. it wont be a real animation. character wont be moving..it is more like a video built of series of story board.

this is the only way that this can be done with your budget, but still I need you to confirm that you accept this approach. because even though it still need a lot of work to accomplish it in a good result

Hello, I make photoreal and stylized environments for video production. You can hire me from my profile. But I will only do set design for the film which includes environment and vfx. Character animation is something you have to do yourself. I work at 35$/hr.
