Contest Brief

I am looking to create a unique and engaging design for a spirit alcohol brand(mezcal). In a nutshell: we need 1) logo and brand identity, 2 ) packaging design 3) label design

1) The design should evoke a sense of sophistication, while maintaining a perfect balance of minimalistic and complex elements. Brand element should(could) include a ladybug (part of our story, see Short Business plan attachment-Section Brand Identity).

2) Design specification: The blend of minimalism and complexity should complement and highlight the sophisticated essence of our spirit brand. Mezcal is made out of agave, perhaps including this would be great.

3) Please take a look at different Mezcal brand designs (they are all very similar, we want our bottle to stand out on the shelf, so don’t be afraid thinking outside the box) - go crazy :)

4) Emotion evocation: A key element in this project relies on your ability to evoke a strong sense of sophistication through the design. You should have a keen eye for detail and a remarkable ability to translate emotions into visual elements. For more details please see the attachments

UPDATE: Here are a few updates from us in terms of what we are looking for:

1. The brand is aiming to be premium but not luxury, please try to convey this in your designs. We have attached our brand colors
2. We do not only need a logo design, we need to see how it will look in the label design (feel free to use any standard mock up of 700ML bottle, or use what we have available in the attchments). That means: we need a logo + label design + packaging design (any paper box for spirits is ok for mock up purposes)
3. Feel free to think outside the box and use the following Tequila and Mezcal brands from premium segment as inspiration - Clase Azul, Bozal mezcal, Montelobos, Derrumbes, El Tequileno,
4.Please think in the context of how can we make this bottle visible on the shelf in any bar. At the moment all mezcals in the world look pretty boring.

    Dear contest holder, I ask you to reconsider the value of the contest... 100 Euros to create logo + label design + packaging design is not very attractive for professional designers.
    I would also strongly recommend that you consider running the contest in a “sealed” format. Failure to do so may result in repeated copying and replication of ideas, which ultimately compromises the security of the selection of original submissions.
    By opting for a closed contest, you ensure that the ideas you share remain confidential and inaccessible to unauthorized persons.
