Contest Brief

We are looking to tie the summer movie buzz in to fun clothing designs for gymnasts. I am looking for an artist to make a cute graphic that we can use across leotards, singlets, and t-shirts via our sublimation printer. We use Corel Draw as our primary graphics processor and our system can import AI, PDF, and EPS files with relative ease. If we choose your design, we will more than likely contact you for future designs, as we would assume your other creations would be in the same style as the award, so bear that mind if you choose to submit.

The award design should look like this: a cute T-Rex, upside down on it's head, with a frown, straining to reach the floor with his arms. A caption should read: T-Rex hates handstands. The cute joke being that a T-Rex physically cannot do handstands due to it's large head and proportionally small arms.

Our target audience is 5 to 11 year-old girls/boys and our color palette can be varied/fluid. The file should be fairly easy to change colors in CorelDraw with good layering, as we will want to offer this on the many fabric colors we have available. The T-Rex and accompanying graphics can be realistically colored or cartoon-ish and abstract. Either way, we would want the ability, in the submitted file, to be able to change the color palette to our liking.
