Contest Brief

InnerJam.app is a *success and personal development focused music player app* currently under development. InnerJam is looking for the perfect mobile app icon and we're inviting you to join our logo design challenge by submitting your best designs!

Please read all the way through this design brief. There are important instructions.

We GUARANTEE there will be a winner and we will award the $250 prize! Future branding and design work will be assigned to the best designer who can continue to work with us. We'll have A LOT of design work needs for this mobile app startup.

** The InnerJam app is dedicated to inspiring you to overcome your fears, achieve your goals and take massive action by listening to your favorite MUSIC. **

Our perfect logo / mobile app icon:

1. Combines the concepts of music and success.
2. 4 colors -or less-. We particularly like blue, orange and green. (Hint: We believe in the psychology of color!)
3. 100% Original. Do not use stock icons or pre-drawn line art.
4. The image must fit into standard mobile icon shapes as well as the profile picture area of social media profiles (circles and squares).

Things to keep in mind:

** Simplicity is key to mobile app icon design!! Think about the app icons on your own smartphone.

** We may not wait the full 7 days before selecting a winner. Get your basic idea in quickly - even if it is not perfect. If we are interested in your design concept, we will communicate with you in order to develop your design idea before the contest is over.

** DO NOT SUBMIT MOCKUPS! ** Entries should be posted full-size on either a black or white background (not both). Mockups will be rejected without further consideration. This is IMPORTANT because if your design goes to the final poll, mockups and multiple image examples in the same entry look HORRIBLE and users will not vote for it. Take our advice and give yourself the best chance to win this contest.

** DO NOT COPY other designers' work or ideas! We will reject all copies and unoriginal submissions - even if we like them.

** We WANT to communicate with you and help you help us. We are in the UTC -5 time zone, so be patient if waiting for a reply and you are on the other side of the world.

** InnerJam is one word. Exactly as I've spelled it. There is no tagline.

** Copyrights of the winning design or designs convey to us with the deliverables.

** Deliverables must include a variety of file formats including at least one full-color vector file format and the original unflattened design file.
