Contest Brief

Looking for a professional voice-over for a video that describes a new website that I will be launching very soon. Voice may be male or female, but must be clear and understandable.

A preview of the 1 minute 33 second video is available here: https://www.rawshorts.com/app/animations/038be53512890dec2fe24860f027c2aa?type=project

The voice-over should roughly follow the timing of the scenes as the computer-generated voice on the preview currently does, but it doesn't have to be exact. I can make small changes to the length of the scenes if necessary. It's more important to me that your voice, tone, and inflections convey the information in the most digestible format as possible. I will even allow small deviations from the script as long as it improves the message and is still technically accurate.

Since Freelancer.com only allows certain file types to be uploaded, please submit a public url or send audio files to contest@techscore.net and also clearly indicate which contest entry is yours on Freelancer.com so that I know who to award the prize to if I select your audio.

I've attached the script below. Feel free to audio-watermark your sample if you'd like to protect your work. Thanks!

I wish I could, but Freelancer.com doesn't allow me to change the file types (or I don't see where to change it). If there's a way to do it, please let me know. The best I can do is tell you that I wouldn't want to taint my website's name before it's even launched and also that it's a guaranteed contest, so I've already paid the money out. Someone is guaranteed to get the money.

Why not provide an audio-watermarked sample, upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox, and let the client listen to just a portion? Without the full audio, your work is protected and the client can judge based on the quality of your voice and production.

Great question! An American accent is preferred, but a British, Australian, or similar may also be acceptable. Regardless of the accent, it's important that the pronunciation be understandable to an American audience.

Do you need a specific accent for this?
