What we need is to display a video clip (video file, swf, etc), and have it so that when the visitor rolls over the menu item below, the block where the movie changes to a still image that is associated with the particular menu item.

I'm looking to do a effect similiar to an image map with Javascript. Basically, the picture is an overview of a hospital roof and when the person hovers their mouse over certain features on the roof a larger detailed picture will appear- preferably inside the image frame, although I'm open to suggestions. I know this can be done with Flash or Javascript, but my attempts a Java have not given me the detailed subshot I'm looking or. It must be compatible with Hubspot CMS. You will see another layer that shows with 2 other image rollovers (Drives & Systems, Encoders). Move your mouse over both of these links and you will see our problem. There is a flicker back to the original state of the first image as the mouse moves on and off these 2 image rollovers. We need to get rid of this flickering between layers. I want to add a "rollover to view" functionality to the photo gallery of my ecommerce website. Here is a good example. The layout of my photo gallery already looks like the one shown from the example; a 310x310 thumbnail (thumb_0) on the top and four 140x140 thumbnails (thumb_1, thumb_2, thumb_3, thumb4) on the bottom; clicking any thumbnail will pop up a lightbox of enlarged version image. I want to add a "rollover to view" functionality, so each time mouseover the thumb (1-4), a 310x310 version of thumb(1-4) will replace thumb(0) and resume to thumb(0) once mouseout. Hi, My website uses a wordpress theme and can be seen at www.thericemcgillfoundation.org. At the bottom there is an area at the bottom that contains the 3 latest posts. (183x250 px images with rollover sliding effect at bottom) Instead of displaying the 3 LATEST blog posts, I would like this to display ANY 3 SPECIFIED POSTS which can be controlled through the admin area. Because there are some posts that we would like to keep on the home page for longer periods of time than others.
I had a vworker create this for me. It works great on all browsers I normally use, but using Safari on a Macintosh it doesn't work correctly. Do you think you can make this work? On most browsers, when the cursor hovers over an image, it gets bigger, and goes to the top, showing some text. On Safari, the images are ignored, as the rollover is somehow not working.
