I've attached a file you to look at so you have some idea of my requirements. The purpose of this system when it is finally built is to allow me to test and calibrate digital manometers which i'm having built by another freelancer in China; once he's finished the development of these instruments he will need to test them, hence after the possibility of you/your team designing this circuit, i can have it specified and built in China or by a recommended third party to be shipped to China. You will make design of mechanical parts of a Waste to Energy power plant using gasification technology and syngas process. The size of the plant is 2MW with 2 tons waste per hour and it is built inside a container. Our company has a branch that does electronics recycling. We receive thousands of DVD movies for recycling each month from several dozen of our partners. The down-stream recycler that processes our plastics prefers the DVD disks to be chipped or chopped up before we ship to them because we can place more material in the boxes we use and in turn get a higher value from the plastic material. We want to be able to ship a small desk top device to our customers so they can chop up the DVDs before they ship to us for recycling. This contest is to design an environmentally safe desktop device that chops up the plastic material contained in a DVD disk in 10 seconds or less to pieces no larger then 2.5mm by 2.5mm. The device should have a universal power supply capable of 100-240 volts and 50 to 60 hertz. It must have safety features that prevent it from operating if the lid is open (if there is a lid) when the motor is operational. The device should be no larger then 30cm wide 20 cm tall and 20 cm deep. It should weight no more then 15KG. The active cutter should be replaceable. There should be a dust or material collector bag similar to a vacuum cleaner bag which can hold the material from 100 DVDs or up to 250 DVDs. More then 250 would make the device too big. The dust bag or material collector can be external to the device. My company specialises in indoor motorised solutions that help to move people and supplies across big compounds/campuses. We would like to launch a new ride-on product and is seeking design/s to this product. This product will be targeted to help cleaners/porters/chambermaids etc - folks who currently have to push heavy trolleys as part of their work. So instead of them walking and pushing, the ride-on will allow them to stand on it and drive around with their supplies. Bearing in mind the ride-on cart would be manufactured using some kind of metal, key features of the design should include: 1) Dimension limitation, no more than: 1300mm in length, 650mm in width, 1200mm in height 2) Wheels x 4pcs 3) Storage compartments of varying sizes. Items likely to be kept onboard are small and medium sized items of anywhere between 40cm to more than 1.1m. 4) Driver area (including space for one driver and the joystick steering system; this area can be situated in front or behind depending on the proposed design; this area should be drawn in at a lower platform compared to the storage area for driver accessibility) 5) Sleek/chic design. Most of our clients are key players in the tourism industry so the product design must be modern and attractive to complement their interior design. Think SOHO, Philip Starck.
