Configure Ubuntu 16 as NAT Router

Hello I am system and network administrator, with more then 10 years of experience. I worked with different services and servers, particularly, designing of local datacenter, management of local and remote sites, and cloud environments. The above-mentioned experience includes work with virtualization technologies, mostly based on VMWare products, cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, and etc. I have proven knowledge in networking and security, thanks to the work experience and Cisco training sessions I participated. The short list of the servers and services include but are not limited to: Web Server (Apache, Nginx, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), Firewalls (Iptables, PFSense, etc.), basic scripting (BASH) etc. I believe my skills and qualifications correspond to the requirements. I am available for an interview any time. I'd like to ask, if the system is going to operate as a router, why don't you want to use something more specific for this task? like pfsense.
