US FREELANCERS THAT UNDERSTAND NBA PREFERRED I am a Teacher and am looking to supplement my income. I am looking for someone to design a fantasy NBA (and possibly for the NFL) tool, (in Excel or Access) using SQL commands and algorithms. The algorithm would need to follow the rules of Fanduel (for how players receive points) and provide me with the set of players who would produce the most points from a slate of games on any given night. So, I would request someone to do this job who has a solid knowledge of the NBA and of SQL. Thank you for your time. Eric

Hi. i´m an applied statistician and professor since 1994, fan of bet sports (NBA,NFL, NCAAF and NCAAB); i know how the fantasy works and i can help you if you answer two questions: 1. do you have a data base of nba players show, game by game, or i have to buid it? 2. are you dispose to pay th middle of the project now and the rest finishing it?; its because its a significant amount and i will be dedicate to it the next 4 weeks. The result is an algorithm that give you the best team (in therms of probability). the data base will be easy to update (once a week or month or dialy if you want) or, if you prefer,we can use a bayesian model to update the probabilities. all in a easy excel interfase. do we have a deal?

Hi, I have recently left Royal Mail after 23 years in the Business Modelling (aka Strategic Analysis) team which I led for 10 years. I would estimate that I spent 75% of my time working in Excel/VBA. As you will see I am from the UK rather than US, I confess that my specific intimate knowledge of the NBA and Fanduel is zero. However, I have written these kind of things before (using Excel/VBA) to help me pick the best team for fantasy football (soccer) leagues in the UK, so I would be very happy to give it a go.
