You will write an app that takes pictures of an item that can tell how "worn" the item is based on comparative images of that same item in different states of quality.
The platform must run in Amazon AWS and I would prefer it to use advanced AWS technologies as well. (not just EC2 or RDS)
The app will be very basic. It just takes a picture, front and back, and sends that picture to the server. The server interprets those photos using some sort of fuzzy logic to determine the quality of that item. The app then returns the quality score for that item.
The item has a top and bottom and the user may not take the picture perfectly straight on. So you will need to apply advanced logic to get the item's picture to work right with the sample data in the server.
I will provide all sample pictures for the item in various states of wear as well as the grades for each wear.
The server must be API based. The app can be anything. Must work on iPhone for my testing.
This could turn into a very longterm engagement.
