Android Application to catalog and tag purposes.

We are manufacturers of underground utility markers, and are currently looking to develop an app based and cloud based solution for asset management and tracking.    The product has two phases.  Phase 1 : is the installation of the marker during cable laying process.  Phase 2 : During maintenance or any other activity, instead of digging at all locations, the idea is to correctly and accurately determine not only the location of the buried asset, but also the type and the vendor involved.  Both these phases are explained in more detail below.   The requirements for the project are an app that does the following:-  This project requires the following modules:-  A). QR Code Scanning (QR Code has basic information as CUSTNAME-XXXXXX-UTILITY B). Extraction of Geo-tagging information from a image taken  C). Cloud Storage and Retrieval.  D). Augmented Reality Functionality.  DURING INSTALLATION OF MARKER PRODUCT - PHASE 1  1. Using the camera function, scan a QR Code on our product, which is an underground utility marker.  2. The QR Code contains information such as Vendor Name, Utility Type, Date of Installation and Installed By etc.,  3. When an image is captured using the app, the geo tag information viz, latitude and longitude are extracted.  4. Finally all the above information is stored into a cloud database, including the image.  DURING MAINTENANCE OF UTILITY - PHASE II  1. Based on the current GPS co-ordinate, the app, should be able to show on a Maps API, the location of all the entries within a 5 mile radius. The data can be filtered based on vendor name, utility type.  2. Based on a selection, the app should be able to guide the layman to within 10 feet of the intended location.  3. Once within 10 feet of location, switch to Live Camera Feed with augmented reality function. The image that was earlier stored in the cloud (the one taken during installation) to be the object used in augmented reality function. This is to give an idea to the layman the burial location and position of the marker at the time of installation.
