The purpose of the application is to allow researchers to assemble writing projects easier and with higher quality by helping them to make sense of data in ways only possibly with text analytics.
Please follow the next few steps to understand what is happening:
Create an account by using the ‘register’ link.
Click on ‘Add Sources’
Paste into the drag box the following news url: [login to view URL]
Click ‘Add’
When you do this, it triggers a call to IBM Watson to do provide meta data about the article which is returned as JSON.
A new source record is created
Click ‘Done’ and you will be taken to your new home dashboard.
Click on one of the element blocks in the Tree Map visualization.
Notice the pop up box that appears. It describes some things about the entity you selected.
What we want to do is refactor this box to do much more to allow a user to REALLY understand the entity. This is where you come in.
