Here is my sample edit: “Figure ? shows parallel staging in which many small first stage rockets are attached to a central sustainer rocket. For the launch all engines are ignited but the small rockets are jettisoned as their fuel is used up. Meanwhile the sustainer engine carries on and propels the payload into orbit. The small rockets are later found in the ocean, refilled with fuel and re-used This technique is used on the Space Shuttle.” I used ‘Figure ?’ as I would prefer to number all the figures throughout for ease of reading. However, if I was doing this ‘for real’ I would also want to ask you if they had to be called ‘small stage rockets’ or could be called ‘small booster rockers’ instead. Regards Deborah
