Website Content Writer Needed - US, UK, Australian or Canadian Based ONLY

We are looking for a native English speaker with a background in creative ad writing to fill a freelance role for writing web site content. Responsibilities: - Writing creative and unique copy that attracts people. - Customizing copy to be "search engine friendly", adding in unique keyword phrases to each page to increase the amount of "organic" traffic for informational, navigational and transactional searches. - Researching target demographics to ensure copy "fits" the target audience. For example, copy aimed at an older audience should have larger fonts, colors that are easier to read, etc....copy aimed at younger audiences should contain colloquial buzz-words and sound "cool" while being "educational and informative". - Performing keyword research based on location, demographics and other variables such as income level by zip code and preferred word usage to refine keyword research and development, and adding that research into the copy. - Utilizing keyword research tools and services such as [login to view URL] to datamine competitor keyword lists to gain actionable insights into competitor keyword selection for usage within copy when applicable. - Creating keyword spreadsheets based on research. - Writing other ad content for banner and other display advertising. Must have 1-2 years experience as a writer in an advertising setting. Previous ad agency experience highly preferred. Bachelor's degree also strongly preferred though not required.
