I have been writing for 25 years on everything under the Sun and above it. Politics interests me most. Indian politics, of course, takes the cake..or is it, jelabis?Jokers masquerade as batmen and do not even know it. Almost everything a politician does or says turns out to be a source of entertainment for the hapless masses whose lot otherwise is to suffer. There is no dearth of material to write about. I have always been devouring the political writings of Vinod Mehta, Sashi Taroor, Janardhan Thakur, Shekar Gupta, Arun Shouri, Kushwant Singh and many others. My political letters to the Sunday Observer, the Times of India, the Mid-Day, the Indian Express have always been published.
I can right now think of writing about the BJP government's hypocritical stance on shedding (or not shedding) crocodile tears for the Kashmiri Pandits who are languishing as refugees in their own country or about Rahul Gandhi carrying a plastic tub supposed filled with rocks and following a woman who is carrying a bona fide vessel that is traditionally used for the purpose. Simple question: Why couldn't he carry the same vessel as the woman did? And, why was he provided with a plastic tub? More to the point, where did he get one?
I have written some 3,000 articles online. 4 of my books are on sale on amazon.com. I had edited an in-house magazine on board a warship and a base. I am a certified translator with an international translation agency. Plagiarism is plague, punctuality is inherent.
