The Policy will look at Commonwealth countries like Britain, Australia, Malaysia, Canada and other nations that presently have natural gas and LNG developments and their legislations and policies on royalties. The freelancer will need to compare the royalties, how Governments have increased royalty and the reasons behind the increases, e.g. Trinidad and Tobago Governments increased royalty rate from 1.5% to 12% to support Government budget against backdrop of declining crude oil pricing which impacted on Government revenue.
